Spotlight: The Six Savior Series by Carly Fall

I’m pleased to have Carly Fall here today.

Carly, what can you tell us about The Six Savior Series?
First, thank you for having me Kacey.

Over two hundred years ago, a group of vicious criminals escaped from their prison on the planet of SR44.  They landed on Earth, and have become some of our worst criminals such as Jack the Ripper and Jeffrey Dahmer.

The people of SR44 sent six warriors to go after and kill the criminals with the understanding that they wouldn't be allowed home until the mission was complete.  The mission was supposed to be short, but it didn't work out that way.

The Six Saviors series is the stories of six Warriors.

Noah (from book one, The Light Within Me) and Rayner (book two, Finding Faith) sound like intriguing and complex heroes. What can you tell us about them?
Noah is the leader of the Warriors, whether he wants to be or not.  He's angry that the mission has taken so long and has been so difficult.  He's pretty sure that he will never be able to go home, and his focus has been directing his anger into hunting down and killing Colonists.

Rayner is more mild mannered than Noah.  He longs to go home, and holds on to the belief that one day he will.  He knows that the mission needs to be completed before that can happen, so he is the workhorse of the group, always taking steps to get closer to the day when he believes they will be able to go home.

What makes these two men desirable?
Well, physically, they are both HOT.  :)
In addition, although they are Warriors and their mission is to kill, they both also have a softer side to them that the women bring out.

An SR44 male falls in love quickly and deeply.  He believes that his mate is to be treasured and worshipped, that her needs, wants and desires should be placed before his own.

So they are very alpha, except when it comes to their females.  Then they can be mushy piles of goo :)

What makes Abby (book one) and Faith (book two) perfect for these two potent and sexy men?
Abby is perfect for Noah because she is the only woman who has caught his eye in the two hundred and eleven years he has been on this planet.  And there is something very special about Abby that I can't divulge — total spoiler—that makes the reason Noah is so attracted to her understandable.

Faith is a good match for Rayner because their backgrounds are very similar, even though they're from different universes.  Faith is one of those people who wake up every morning excited by life and curious as to what the day will bring, while Rayner is so focused on his mission he is an all work and no play guy.  She helps Rayner loosen up a bit and see that there is so much more to life.

What's next for The Six Savior Series?
I'm currently working on the third installment, which is about the tortured soul of the warrior Hudson.  It will be out toward the end of June.

 Finding My Faith
by Carly Fall

Growing up in a small Northern Arizona town, Faith Cloudfoot’s life was spent playing in the forests surrounding her house under the protective eyes of her father, and learning about the legends of her Native American heritage. Yearning for more out of her life, she moves to Phoenix, Arizona at the age of twenty-three where she is kidnapped and almost killed.

Rayner has a special ability, one that weighs on him like a curse. He can see spirits trapped in between life and their final resting place. Because he can’t do much to help them, he studiously ignores them. He concentrates, instead, on working with his fellow warriors to right the wrongs caused by the evil criminals from his home planet.

When Rayner sees Faith in her spirit form while investigating a lead in Phoenix, his attraction to her is immediate, yet he follows his own personal code and ignores her cry for attention. When he realizes that she may be a stepping stone to getting him home to his own universe, he engages Faith and begins to use her as a means to an end: going home.

As the attraction grows stronger, Rayner finds himself breaking all sorts of self-set rules, as well as the code of ethics set by him and his fellow warriors. When Faith nears death, Rayner realizes that he must do everything in his power to save her, because if he doesn’t, he may just lose himself.

Excerpt:
I see you, Faith.  He didn't say the words out loud, but instead projected them at her.  Stopping in her tracks, he watched as she turned slowly, carefully looking at the people around her until her eyes settled on his.  When their eyes met, he felt like he had been hit in the solar plexus with a two-by-four.  Jesus, she was incredibly beautiful.  He was certain that she was like no woman he had ever seen.  He wondered how in the world a woman with Native American skin and features could have such fiery red hair.  He had only seen hair like that on women with skin so pale it was almost translucent.  He broke eye contact when some guy in a suit walked right through her.  Literally.
“You can see me?” she asked, giving the guy who had just busted through her a dirty look.
“Yup.”
"How do you know my name?"
He took a second to think about an answer, and then she did something he had never encountered with a spirit.
She turned around and ran.
Rayner sat stunned for a moment, and then he was up after her, his heavy boots pounding on the pavement, his newspaper forgotten on the bench.  He couldn't imagine what he looked like to all the skirts and suits making their way to work.  He wasn't chasing anyone, and he wasn't being chased.  Just some nutjob hauling ass down the sidewalk.
Faith had an edge—she didn't need to dodge things like people and cars; she just ghosted through them.
She ran for three blocks, then took a right up 1st Avenue.  He kept projecting his thoughts to her, a mantra that started to get on his nerves.  I'm not going to hurt you, Faith.  I'm here to help.

  3. Both of these books are great. Who new aliens were so sexy and hawt! Noah shows such an innocent/vulnerable side when he's with Abby, because he has been so focused on capturing the colonists for so long. I don't want to give to much away. You'll have to read it. Can't wait to read about the hunkalicious Hudson in the next book. I hope the rest get their own books/stories, as well.
